Vision
Neurabeach is a community hub — think repo + app store — for people building computer-side, simulated, and educational tools in the brain-computer interface space. We want researchers, accessibility builders, students, and hobbyists to share work that others can discover, download, and discuss.
What we are not
- Not an official Neuralink product or partner
- Not a medical device manufacturer or clinic
- Not a distribution channel for implant firmware or SaMD
Current limitations (MVP)
- Manual moderation for new uploads
- File uploads limited (prefer GitHub links)
- Search is full-text / filter based (Meilisearch optional later)
- Badges (Verified Researcher / Trial Participant) require admin approval
- Demo mode works without Supabase; production needs env setup
Roadmap ideas
- Collections / playlists of projects
- Optional paid tipping / premium verified accounts
- Public API for third-party tools
- GitHub / Hugging Face import helpers
- Hooks for an official Neuralink SDK if/when one exists — still never for unapproved implant software
